Breaking Dawn...the fangs have come out!

My life which normally consists of work, school and wiping two little kiddy butts has some spice in it this week!  Breaking Dawn opens next Friday and I have had two tickets in my hand since they went on sale.  Katie and I will be braving the crowds at our local theatre, which will no doubt be sold out.  This of course after we stuff our faces and forget about husbands and kids for a while.  I.cannot.wait.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from my dad saying he knew it was late notice but he was offered four tickets to a Red Wings hockey game in Detroit (which is a 2 1/2 hour drive for us).  Although we were orginally thinking it would be crazy to drive five hours on a Friday night with an almost five year old boy?  We knew it would be a great time for both my dad and Ryan... and since the last two times I have visited my my dear old dad it was in a church pew at a funeral, I am totally looking forward to going.

When there is something on your social calendar other than grocery shopping, this girl feels like sprucing up, so last night while I was at Wal-Mart picking up a hockey jersey for Ryan, I threw in a box of burgandy to cover up all the gray hair that was creeping on me!  I was going for a bolder look, but all the same it was $3.14 so I'm chalking it up as a win.

With the holidays coming up, our little boxes on the calendar are filled up which is awesome!  I love haveing something to look forward to...it keeps me sane.
